Prepare for Stress

Stress Reduction Program and Podcast

This stress reduction training program was developed from neuroscience of the social/emotional brain integrated
with cognition and behavior. The companion app provides a simple daily tool for users to catch stress as it happens.
This is the future of wellness using personal biology and biography data in REAL TIME.

From daily frustrations to stronger anxiety, managing stress can become overwhelming. Worse, chronic stress can cause or compound physical illness in multiple systems: Cardio, Digestive, Pulmonary, Metabolic, Diabetes, Obesity, Pain, Reproductive and more.

Learn to step into stress as it occurs in ‘real time’ and experiment with ways to lower stress.

HOW IT WORKS

By using the training program and Daily Check In app to work with “Real Time” learning at various key times throughout the day,
you can begin to experiment with practical ways to eliminate higher levels of stress. It takes approximately 1 minute,
four times a day to complete a Check In and recognize themes and patterns used for managing stress.

WHO WE ARE

The Prepare for Stress programs were developed as part of a method called Adaptive Behavioral Health. This method of applied neuroscience was created by Sara Denning, Ph.D. in 2010 - 2015 and developed by a core group consisting of medical, social work, epidemiology, public health professionals and neuroscience researchers. The biological and behavioral research used in the stress reduction training programs was not available until neuroimaging of a living brain was developed and the natural processing of changes in the brain due to stress was understood. The program is configured to be used individually or by small groups. Users can coach each other with training and use of the app for specific issues or stress related illnesses. The programs can all be used with fitness monitors which monitor symptomatic or situational data but as Dr. Denning clearly states:

"Don't just track stress. Learn the full stress scale form 0-10 so you can resolve stress and prevent future stress by knowing lower levels as well. You are already the expert on why you have stress and anxiety. Become your own coach as you learn this natural process of stress reduction."
